First of all, the project is base on the simple statement that
music has a lot of benefits.
But in a more personal explanation, music is a big part of my
everydaylife. I have a playlist for each part of my day, and each
kind of activity. Indeed, I am not listenning to the same kind of
music when i am working for school or when i am working out for
instance.
Music can be a real plus for your life. Music can set the rhythm
of your life while making you more efficient in every task you
have planned for your day. And where is the best place to keep
track of all your important events and activity planning? Google
calendar of course.
Indeed, to have the best organised and productive day what could
be better than to get spotify to meet Google Calendar ?

Our project is therefore to link the different kind of event that are already in your Google Calendar to one of your best playlist regarding the targeted benefits (Cf. part 3). All of them could be needed by everyone because they are applicable to a really large target. This is why we want to market this project to Mr. and Mrs. everyone, with a core target for students and the working population, i.e. people between the ages of 20 and 60. They are the one with the more activities to do and the less time to do it and therefore the main productivity seeker.

To make this service works we will need to use the
application-programming interface (API) of both Google calendar
and Spotify.
To connect them we can use Zappier that is an
automation tool that makes it really easy to connect different
services using their APIs, with a simple interface. The trigger
will be "when the event start in google calendar" and the action
"play track in Spotify".
Obviously, for the service to work we will need to add "search
terms" in order to link the playlist with a certain kind of event.
An example of a search term will be #workhard, #concentration,
#productivity, #read, #creative ...
